So You Want To Be Your Own Boss?
There has never been a better time to enter the roadside assistance industry.
Every single day across the United States, hundreds of thousands of drivers require roadside services such as jump starts, lockouts, tire changes, fuel delivery, towing, and emergency assistance — and the demand continues to grow year after year.
Thanks to modern technology and the rise of smartphones, customers can now instantly search for roadside help wherever they are. With more than 97% of Americans carrying smartphones, access to roadside assistance services has never been easier, creating massive opportunities for motivated entrepreneurs willing to step into this industry.
Roadside assistance is no longer just a side service offered by towing companies — it has become a high-demand standalone business model with flexible scheduling, scalable income potential, and low startup barriers compared to many traditional businesses.
Whether you are looking to:
Create an additional source of income
Leave your 9-to-5 job
Build a full-time operation
Start with a personal vehicle and scale over time
Or create a fleet-based roadside company
…Revenue Roadside is here to help guide you through the process.
Our goal is to simplify the startup journey by providing the tools, resources, industry insights, and provider network information needed to help you launch with confidence and avoid costly mistakes.

Getting Started
-You will receive work directly, via your cell phone, and will be linked to multiple dispatch centers.
-Dispatch will give you the location, year/make/model of vehicle, members contact number, and a service order number.
-If you take the job, you will give dispatch an ETA (estimated time of arrival).
-Give the customer a call to inform them of your ETA.
-Once you arrive at the destination, you will perform the service.
-Have the customer sign an invoice, and that’s it, on to the next call!
-After you complete a job you will submit the service order number online for payment.
-Occasionally a customer’s battery will be dead after you unlock their vehicle. If this is the case don’t worry, just call the dispatch center and they will add a jump start to the job!
–Sometimes, a jump start may fail due to mechanical issues with the alternator, starter, etc. You still receive payment as long as you arrived on site and attempted a jump start.
-Don’t forget about tire changes and fuel delivery. Simple jobs that you can complete quickly, so you can head to the next call!
Most companies pay 2 days after the service order number is submitted, via direct deposit.
-Once you have established yourself you can always consider sub-contracting your work.
